As at March 8, 2012 – The top 10 Richest People in Africa in 2012 – Aliko Dangote tops the list @ $11.2 Billion, According to Forbes Magazine list of richest people in the world, Mexican businessman, Carlos Slim Helu retains the no. 1 lead. African billionaires made a little over 1% of the positions on the list.
