The top 10 games of 2011 and 2012 seem to have similar titles. The main genre that seems to always lock in the top slots has and will always be the shooter multiplayer games. The graphics, the utilities and strategy will always draw in the true gamers. Of course there are still the angry birds fans and the word games that draw in crowds but the top 10 PC games once again are the defend the universe or defend your planet from aliens, creepers or creatures.

10. Diablo III

This is a top 10 fighting multiplayer game that allows the players to level up by killing trolls, monsters and creeps. The players get new skills each time they level up. You can play as the wizard, alchemist, warrior, engineer, voodoo prince or outlander. Cool graphics and gameplay.

9. StarCraft II Heart of the swarm
This is a single or multiplayer game that lets you fight in real time. There are three armies the zerg, protoss and tarran and you have to decide which army you want to be on and fight the enemy. Very military shoot em up.

8. Mass Effects 3

 This is a top 10 multiplayer shooter game where you create your own army, kill enemies an confiscate their weapons to use as your own. Awesome level up and cool weapons to choose from.

7. Tera

This is a top 10 game that has been constantly advertise on television, it has awesome graphics, and it involves armies and enemy attacks, fighting monsters and creatures. The cool part of the game is that no damages are incurred to the body if there is no physical contact to the warrior.

6. Rage

This is a first person shooter game that is centered on the post-apocalyptic world. Survivors of an asteroid attack fight the ghost clan to survive in futuristic world. Cool creatures and graphics.

5. Portal 2

This is a first person shooter game that involves strategy, puzzle solving and being rules by a computer master. In this game you are the robot and the master controls your every move. You must complete task and follow the rules in order to level up.

4. Firefall

This is a top ten multiplayer shooter game with futuristic robots, aliens, armies. You are in an indestructible suit of armor and you have to fight the aliens as a leader of an army. Awesome graphics and movement.

3. Minecraft

Minecraft has become a Pc sensation over the last few years and everyone is playing it. This is a game where you use blocks to create worlds, and you fight zombies and creepers that come out at night. There are over 2million mods that can be incorporated into the game to create whatever world you want. The possibilities are endless. Leveling up is possible by killing the zombies.

This top ten game is very similar to minecraft, it’s like minecraft in 2D, and you can build, collect and explore sand dune lands, craft recipes, and fight enemies.

This games seems to be at the top of the list for the moment. It has aliens, exodus planets, futuristic scenery, awesome weapons and cool scenery. This is a first person shooter game that seems to get better over time.

Each of these games is just the tip of the iceberg there are so many more that can easily fill up the top 20. Futuristic, space age, creature filled planets seem to be the top genre in the shooter game multiplayer series and the games keep coming. There is no end to the PC experience in gaming, enjoy and play on.
